Job Description

We are on the lookout for a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst in Johannesburg to analyze and implement security measures. Your key responsibilities will involve assessing risks, advising on security strategies, and conducting penetration testing to keep our systems secure.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the organization's security posture through assessments.
• Participate in the design and implementation of security systems.
• Liaise with law enforcement regarding cybersecurity incidents.
• Review and update security policies and incident response plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in information security

Technical Skills

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Firewall Management

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Risk Management Frameworks: Understanding of risk management frameworks like NIST or ISO.
