Job Description

As a Pet Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of various types of pets, offering guidance to pet owners, and addressing any health or behavioral issues. This role requires a genuine passion for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with pet owners, offering training and behavioral support advice.
• Develop health and wellness plans for pets based on individual needs.
• Conduct regular health checks on pets and liaise with veterinarians for any necessary treatments.
• Document and report on pet health and behavior observations.
• Manage inventory of pet care supplies and equipment.
• Facilitate community programs related to pet care and welfare.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred qualifications in Animal Health or Veterinary Sciences

Experience

• Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter is a plus.
