Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical exams, and advising patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine physical examinations and screenings.
• Maintain accurate and timely health records.
• Manage patient referrals to specialists as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate patient education and counseling sessions.
• Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Specialization in Family or Pediatric Nursing is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a family practice or outpatient setting

Technical Skills

• Patient education

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
