As a Clinical Psychologist at our Johannesburg clinic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological services tailored to our clients' individual needs. Your expertise will contribute to promoting mental wellness in our community.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based therapies to support clients in achieving their goals.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in community mental health initiatives and outreach programs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations.
• Foster positive relationships with clients to promote trust and healing.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience, with a focus on trauma-informed care

Technical Skills

• CBT and DBT
• Mindfulness Techniques

Soft Skills

• Conflict Resolution
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CPD accredited
• Specialization in Trauma Therapy

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms: Experience providing virtual therapy sessions using telehealth technology.
• Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy: Additional training in DBT to support clients with emotional regulation.
