Job Description

We are seeking a Die Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for upholding the operational excellence of our die manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will ensure that all dies are efficiently maintained and repaired, ultimately enhancing production quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of dies for wear and damage.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement.
• Diagnose issues and implement necessary repairs.
• Document all maintenance activities thoroughly.
• Collaborate with production to resolve efficiency problems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for replacement parts.
• Provide mentorship to apprentices.
• Stay updated on industry standards and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training in die maintenance or related fields

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in die maintenance within manufacturing

Technical Skills

• CNC Machining Knowledge
• Safety Protocol Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Problem-Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
