Responsibilities

• Conduct routine check-ups and preventative care consultations.
• Diagnose diseases and provide treatment options.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and their pets.
• Work closely with other veterinarians for complex cases.
• Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Guide and mentor junior veterinary staff and students.
• Ensure that all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in clinical veterinary settings

• Anesthesia Management

Certifications

• Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture
• Veterinary Behavior Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
