We are currently seeking a Geologist to join our Newcastle team. The successful candidate will be involved in geological assessments and resource exploration, using innovative techniques to locate and evaluate mineral deposits.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team on various projects.
• Prepare technical reports for regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
• Use advanced software for data analysis and interpretation.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in geological science.
• Contribute to the development of innovative exploration technologies.
• Conduct training sessions on geological fieldwork techniques.
• Participate in industry-related conferences and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in exploration geology

• Resource Evaluation

Certifications

• Registered Professional Geologist (RPG)
• Environmental Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project Management Experience: Experience in managing geological projects from inception to completion.
• Experience with Renewable Energy Resources: Knowledge or experience in utilizing geological resources for renewable energy solutions.
