Accountant

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Johannesburg office. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting software and financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee financial reporting and compliance.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review.
• Assist in cost control and project costing.
• Maintain accurate financial records for audit purposes.
• Educate and train team members on financial best practices.
• Implement improvements in accounting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in accounting or finance roles
