We are looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Engineer to support our design and manufacturing processes in Johannesburg. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance vehicle performance, implement safety features, and ensure environmental compliance. A solid understanding of automotive engineering standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new automotive ideas.
• Assist in the preparation of grant applications for technological advancements.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on projects.
• Evaluate supplier capacities and capabilities for project alignment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in vehicle development or related engineering roles.
