Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, performing surgeries, and offering preventive healthcare advice to pet owners. The ideal candidate should possess a strong ability to diagnose and treat a variety of animal conditions, along with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surgeries and manage anesthesia during procedures.
• Advise clients on animal care and health management practices.
• Engage with the community to promote responsible pet ownership.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Collaborate with local animal shelters and rescue organizations.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary laws and ethical standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a veterinary practice.
