Tech Innovations Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in mechanical design, problem-solving, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept to implementation.
• Utilize CAD software for detailed design work.
• Perform root cause analysis for engineering problems.
• Develop prototypes and conduct testing.
• Work closely with project managers to meet project goals.
• Review and improve existing mechanical systems.
• Engage in research and development activities.
• Liaise with external stakeholders for project updates.
• Prepare presentations for technical meetings.
• Manage documentation for engineering designs and changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering

• AutoCAD
• Mechanical Systems Design

• Critical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Mechanical Engineer (CME)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with thermodynamics and fluid mechanics: Hands-on experience with thermodynamic cycles and fluid dynamics in mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems: Familiarity with design and operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
