Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacovigilance Consultant to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reporting adverse drug reactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to overall product safety. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess incoming adverse event reports to identify trends.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal review meetings.
• Engage with external stakeholders on safety-related inquiries and issues.
• Support the implementation of risk minimization measures.
• Conduct literature reviews to identify new safety information.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Master's degree or equivalent is advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in drug safety or related areas.

Technical Skills

• Signal detection

• ISoP Membership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous
