Join our growing veterinary practice in Durban as a Veterinary Ophthalmologist. You will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of animals by treating eye-related conditions and performing surgeries. A strong commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct eye examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to individual animal needs.
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as ultrasound and optical coherence tomography.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about animal eye health.
  • Train junior staff and assist in mentoring veterinary students.

Requirements

Education
  • Veterinary Medicine Degree (BVSc or DVM)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Ophthalmology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice with a focus on ophthalmology
