Job Description

We are searching for a qualified General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and foster long-term relationships with patients. You will also collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with a variety of medical issues.
  • Provide preventive care to promote overall health.
  • Order and interpret appropriate lab tests and imaging studies.
  • Develop care plans that address both medical and emotional needs.
  • Support patients in managing chronic diseases.
  • Participate in community health initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, professional, and ethical standards.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming environment for patients.
  • Engage with patients on their health journeys.
  • Encourage patient feedback to improve services.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent)
  • Valid medical license to practice in South Africa
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner
