We are currently seeking an experienced Textile Winding Machine Setter to operate and monitor silk winding machines. The successful candidate will ensure the optimal performance of machinery, achieve production targets, and adhere to quality standards. Responsibilities

• Set up machines for production runs, adjusting settings to meet operational requirements.
• Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance to keep machines in optimal condition.
• Document production data and machine performance for analysis.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with machinery and recommend solutions.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Relevant technical training or certification in textile processing is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a related textile production role.

• Silk processing knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
