Job Description

The Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) is responsible for meticulously processing crime scenes, collecting physical evidence, and conducting analyses to support investigations and prosecutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate keen observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with law enforcement and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Attend crime scenes to gather and process forensic evidence.
• Take photographs, sketches, and detailed notes of the crime scene.
• Preserve physical evidence for laboratory analysis.
• Document and report findings clearly and succinctly.
• Provide expert testimony in legal trials as required.
• Work within a team environment, ensuring collaborative effort in investigations.
• Stay updated with the latest forensic technologies and methodologies.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Assist in developing forensic protocols and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Forensic Studies are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in forensic investigations
