Job Description

The Emergency Planning Officer will be responsible for developing emergency response plans, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating training exercises for public safety personnel. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute risk management strategies for various incidents.
  • Facilitate community drills and ensure all participants are well-informed.
  • Assist with grant writing for funding on safety initiatives.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of disaster response effectiveness post-incident.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management or equivalent field
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in emergency planning
