Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist in our Port Elizabeth office, you will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle from vendor selection to contract management. Your aim will be to secure the best prices for high-quality products while ensuring procurement compliance with our sustainability policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop procurement policies and procedures.
  • Engage in regular reviews of supplier performance and quality standards.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities in the supply chain.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company sustainability goals.
  • Facilitate communication between departments regarding supply chain issues.
  • Prepare and manage requests for proposals and quotations.
  • Support audits related to procurement processes and documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Postgraduate degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
