Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring minimal downtime for our clients. You will work closely with a team of professionals to support our IT infrastructure and assist users with their technical needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support.
• Set up and configure new workstations and laptops.
• Monitor the IT system for issues and escalate when necessary.
• Assist with software updates and system upgrades.
• Provide training and support to users as needed.
• Document all troubleshooting steps and solutions.
• Assist in network maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support the IT Manager in planning IT improvements.

Advantageous

• Experience with cloud services: Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
• CompTIA Network+ Certification: Preferred certification demonstrating knowledge of networking concepts.
