Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Rolling Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery that compresses brass into thin sheets or strips. A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on quality control are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor rolling machines for brass and metal.
• Ensure consistent material thickness and quality throughout production.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Document production outputs and assist with inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with team members about production goals and challenges.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement efforts.
• Keep the work area organized and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Metalworking or similar field is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Rolling Machine Operation
• Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with manufacturing software: Experience using software to assist with production tracking.
• Previous supervisory experience: Having led a team in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
