Job Description

The Perfect Binder Operator will be responsible for operating the Perfect Binding machine in a print production environment to produce high-quality books and printed material. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch products.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Perfect Binding machine to bind printed materials into books and manuals.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings for different production runs.
• Work with the production team to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety practices.
• Evaluate finished products for quality, making adjustments as necessary.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Certificate in printing technology or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience operating Perfect Binding Machines is essential
