Job Description

As a Nanny with Family Care Services, you will play a vital role in nurturing and caring for children. Your responsibilities will range from supervising daily activities to engaging children in fun and educational experiences. We are looking for a caring individual who can ensure the emotional and physical well-being of the children.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure children's safety during all activities.
• Engage children in age-appropriate learning and play.
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
• Help children with dressing, bathing, and hygiene routines.
• Deliver care that supports children's physical and emotional needs.
• Transport children as needed while ensuring their safety.
• Facilitate educational support and activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in children’s areas.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding progress.
• Provide emotional support and encourage children’s development.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Additional childcare qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• Experience with specific age groups preferred.

Technical Skills

• Child Safety Procedures
• Nutrition Knowledge

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
