E-commerce Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an E-commerce Manager to lead our online retail strategy in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive online sales and improve customer engagement. You will leverage analytics to optimize the user experience on our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute the overall e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals.
• Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies through targeted marketing.
• Utilize analytics tools to track performance and optimize campaigns.
• Conduct A/B testing on landing pages to boost conversion rates.
• Collaborate with the branding team to maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Enhance user experience through website improvements based on customer feedback.
• Manage budget allocations for marketing initiatives strategically.
• Liaise with external agencies for specific e-commerce projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's in Marketing or E-commerce is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations or similar roles

Technical Skills

• CMS Management (WordPress, Magento)
• Email Marketing Platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo)

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• E-commerce Marketing Certification
• Certified Digital Marketing Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
