Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Compliance Officer in Johannesburg who can develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and can effectively manage compliance risk. You will be expected to conduct audits and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide training to employees on compliance practices.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact.
• Investigate compliance violations and assist in corrective actions.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Provide guidance on compliance issues to staff.
• Promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
• Liaise with external compliance auditors when required.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Compliance, Law, or Finance

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in compliance management or related field

Technical Skills

• Compliance Management Systems

Certifications

• Certified Compliance Professional (CCP)
• Certified Risk Manager (CRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
