Join our team as a Legal Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for advising on legal issues, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance with legislation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of legal frameworks relevant to our industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team.
• Draft, review, and manage a wide variety of legal documents.
• Ensure that the company's practices align with legal and ethical standards.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal due diligence in business transactions.
• Advocate for the company’s interests in negotiations.
• Oversee compliance with data protection regulations.
• Implement training programs on legal compliance for employees.
• Manage relationships with external legal firms.
• Compile and file necessary legal documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
• Master's degree in Law is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
