Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee building projects in Port Elizabeth. This position requires a hands-on leader who can ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high levels of quality. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage resources, and solve any issues that may arise during the construction process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using project management tools.
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets for projects.
  • Monitor the progress of construction activities and report on variations.
  • Resolve any issues or delays impacting project timelines.
  • Organize project meetings and communicate with stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place throughout the construction process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management
