Buckle Attacher

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Buckle Attacher to join our production team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently attaching buckles to various products, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to attach buckles securely to products.
• Conduct quality checks on finished items to maintain product integrity.
• Keep the work area tidy and free from hazards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Assist in training new employees on proper buckle attachment techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and report issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• NQF Level 4 or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in production with similar role is highly beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Machinery operation
• Quality control practices

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Quality control training: Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures in manufacturing.
• Previous experience in a similar role: Hands-on experience in attaching buckles or similar fasteners is a plus.
