Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of products and managing supplier relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain operations ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Evaluate supply chain performance metrics and develop improvement strategies.
• Assist with inventory management and tracking of stock levels.
• Collaborate with procurement to optimize purchasing processes.
• Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
• Engage in training and development of junior staff within the supply chain department.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on supply chain strategies to upper management.
• Support sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers and potential opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or similar field
• Master's degree in Logistics or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement roles
