Job Description

As a Clinical Psychotherapist in Cape Town, you will be responsible for providing individualized therapy to clients facing various mental health challenges. This position requires a compassionate professional committed to fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake interviews and establish rapport with new clients.
  • Design and implement treatment plans based on individual assessments.
  • Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adjustments to therapy.
  • Advocate for clients' needs in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health resources and coping strategies.
  • Develop workshops and seminars aimed at mental health education for the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • HPCSA Registration as a Clinical Psychologist
Experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in mental health care

Certifications
