Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. This role will involve the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and be able to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of electrical systems to ensure quality and reliability.
• Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to installation and maintenance teams.
• Implement energy-efficient systems and sustainable practices.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications in Electrical Engineering are a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of professional experience in electrical systems design

Technical Skills

• Electrical Safety Regulations
• Simulation Software (MATLAB/Simulink)

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
