Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Johannesburg. This role will involve designing, analyzing, and implementing mechanical systems and components while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to tackle complex engineering challenges and apply engineering principles to real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze 3D models and simulations of mechanical systems.
• Work closely with product management to define technical requirements.
• Perform stress and thermal analysis to validate designs.
• Document engineering processes and maintain project records.
• Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to facilitate the production of prototypes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management
