Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee and streamline our supply chain operations in Port Elizabeth. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of supply chain processes and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform logistical calculations to optimize supply chain routes.
• Evaluate supplier performance and manage contracts.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for shipments.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
• Train and guide junior team members in supply chain processes.
• Utilize technology to improve tracking and reporting.
• Participate in regular supply chain meetings to discuss issues.
• Maintain a proactive approach to supply chain challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Logistics or a related field
• Postgraduate qualifications are beneficial

Experience

• 3+ years in logistics or supply chain roles
