Shift Supervisor - Production Management

Job Description

As a Shift Supervisor at Dynamic Manufacturing, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor. You will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely while managing a team of skilled workers. Your leadership will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team in the execution of daily operations.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all products.
• Assist in developing and implementing production plans.
• Maintain documentation of production processes.
• Foster a culture of safety and teamwork.
• Analyze production data for trends and insights.
• Resolve conflicts and ensure a positive work environment.
• Supervise inventory management and control.
• Support the introduction of new processes and equipment.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new staff.

Requirements

Education

• Technical degree in Manufacturing or Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in a production environment with a supervisory role

Certifications

• Six Sigma Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
