Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented Architect specializing in residential projects. If you have a keen eye for design and experience in creating innovative living spaces, we want you on our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the design process from concept through to execution, ensuring every detail aligns with our vision for quality.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and produce innovative residential design solutions.
• Coordinate with structural and MEP engineers throughout the design process.
• Develop project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Review and approve shop drawings and construction documents.
• Evaluate and recommend materials and finishes for projects.
• Prepare and manage design budgets and project scopes.
• Provide continuous support and conflicts resolution during construction.
• Create and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Incorporate sustainable practices into design solutions.
• Conduct post-occupancy evaluations and gather user feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Architecture or related field

Experience

• 5-7 years of professional experience in residential projects

Technical Skills

• BIM
• Presentation Software

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Leadership

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Local Building Codes: Strong understanding of local zoning and building regulations.
• Familiarity with Smart Home Technology: Knowledge of integrating smart home features into residential designs.
