Job Description

We're on the lookout for a passionate Event Planner to join our team in Durban! You will be responsible for organizing and managing events from start to finish, collaborating closely with clients to ensure their vision comes to life. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event plans.
  • Budget management, ensuring each event is delivered within financial constraints.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Utilize social media and marketing strategies to enhance event visibility.
  • Analyze and report on event outcomes.
  • Stay current on market trends and client preferences.
  • Adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen circumstances.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business Management
  • Additional qualifications in marketing is beneficial
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in event management or a related field
