We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design and engineering principles, with experience in product development and manufacturing processes. Your role will involve designing, developing and testing new mechanical systems and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers to procure materials and components.
• Participate in risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Document findings and prepare reports for project stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.
• Assist in quality control and assurance procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree or further specialization is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience
