Job Description

We are seeking skilled Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operators to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with various paving equipment and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe and efficient operation of paving machinery.
• Communicate effectively with team members to complete tasks on time.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Document paving project progress and issues as they arise.
• Provide training for less experienced operators on equipment handling and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Heavy Equipment Operation is a plus

Experience

• Experience in road construction is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Multilingual Abilities: Ability to communicate in multiple languages such as Afrikaans or Zulu is advantageous.
