We're on the hunt for an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and the ability to assess risk effectively, all while ensuring our clients receive comprehensive coverage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments for various clients and industries.
• Liaise with external consultants when required for specific risk analysis.
• Evaluate and adjust underwriting guidelines as market conditions change.
• Support training and development of junior underwriting staff.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all underwriting activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Insurance or Risk Management is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting or related field
