Ceramics Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Ceramics Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining ceramics production machines, conducting routine checks, and ensuring high-quality output. This role is crucial in our manufacturing process, and requires a keen eye for detail and a strong technical background.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ceramics production machinery and equipment.
• Perform quality checks and adjust machinery settings as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the production area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
• Report any machinery malfunctions to the Production Manager.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualification in ceramics or pottery manufacturing

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience operating ceramics machines in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Technical knowledge of ceramics production
• Ability to troubleshoot

• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
