Job Description

We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our compassionate team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mental health issues, provide individual and group therapy, and develop tailored treatment plans for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients.
  • Assess psychological, social, and cultural factors affecting mental health.
  • Work closely with doctors, psychologists, and support staff.
  • Participate in case management and treatment discussions.
  • Organize and lead group therapy sessions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Advocate for client needs within the healthcare system.
  • Create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting
