Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely to patients.
  • Provide medication counselling to patients regarding proper use and potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient health and medication effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
  • Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and supplies.
  • Provide health screenings and immunization services as required.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and health improvement strategies.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
