The successful candidate will play a key role in translating various documents, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance. This position requires proficiency in multiple languages, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate written materials from English to various target languages.
• Edit and proofread translated texts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver translations on time.
• Research and incorporate cultural nuances into translations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and deadlines.
• Utilize translation memory tools to maintain consistency in translations.
• Assist in developing and updating glossaries and style guides.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Translation Sciences or a relevant field
• Certification in Translation or a related qualification is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of professional translation experience

Technical Skills

• Proficient in CAT tools
• Understanding of localization processes

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• ProZ Certified Translator

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent

Advantageous
