Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and testing of mechanical systems. You will utilize your skills in CAD software and engineering principles to create efficient solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new mechanical technologies.
• Implement quality control measures during production.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for product launches.
• Analyze product lifecycle and perform cost analysis.
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead engineering meetings and coordinate with external partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a related engineering field preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical system design and analysis

• Mechanical Design Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
