Job Description

As a Hydrogenation Operator, you'll play a critical role in operating and maintaining hydrogenation equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality hydrogenated products. You will collaborate closely with the production team, adhering to safety standards and quality protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor hydrogenation equipment and ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting on equipment and processes, elevating issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Work with safety teams to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Help to implement and improve operational procedures for efficiency.
  • Maintain the safe operation of equipment and comply with environmental policies.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management promptly.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams for effective product quality checks.
  • Ensure the efficient running of hydrogenation reactions as per production schedules.
  • Assist in the performance of routine equipment maintenance tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical Diploma in Chemical Processing is a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a chemical processing environment, specifically with hydrogenation processes.
