Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and engineering principles, capable of working on various projects from conception to completion. You will be involved in designing, testing, and evaluating mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet both performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects while maintaining high standards.
• Utilize CAD software for design and prototyping.
• Perform failure analysis and initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with external vendors for manufacturing solutions.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements.
• Promote sustainable design practices in engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Manufacturing Processes

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
