Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at Civil Solutions Ltd., you will be instrumental in designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects in Port Elizabeth. Responsibilities

• Develop innovative engineering solutions to complex challenges.
• Ensure that all designs comply with local and national codes.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to discuss project goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory approvals and permits.
• Analyze survey reports and other data to inform project decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D: Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D for site planning and design.
• Familiarity with project lifecycle management: Knowledge of project lifecycle processes from initiation to completion.
