Deep Sea Diver

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Deep Sea Diver to join our team. As a Deep Sea Diver, you will be responsible for conducting underwater operations with the objective of achieving project goals while maintaining safe working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of marine environments to identify areas for research.
• Engage in underwater welding and cutting tasks as required.
• Support project managers with data collection and analysis for scientific research.
• Implement advanced diving techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
• Train junior divers in safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in marine biology, oceanography, or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in conducting underwater research and surveys.

Technical Skills

• Navigation and communication equipment
• Safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Critical thinking

Certifications

• Diving instructor certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in welding, cutting, and rigging underwater structures.: Advanced skills in underwater metal work and assembly.
• Certified in Advanced Open Water Diving.: Certification indicating advanced skills and knowledge in deep-sea diving.
