Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Doctor to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care. This role involves building strong relationships with patients, ensuring a supportive and informative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Attend and participate in relevant medical meetings.
• Develop a rapport with patients to ensure trust and comfort.
• Advocate for patient health needs and coordinate specialized care when necessary.
• Be involved in quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare setting.
• Stay informed about new research and treatments in medical practice.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Additional postgraduate training is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of practice in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Membership of the South African Medical Association (SAMA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
