Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing various phases of construction, from planning to execution. This role requires leadership skills to guide teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate onsite work performance.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with the safety officer to implement safety protocols.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Facilitate communication between clients and team members.
• Drive value engineering initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications are a bonus

Experience

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in construction projects
