Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee various construction projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of construction processes, management systems, and compliance regulations. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management processes to minimize project risks.
• Evaluate and implement new construction technologies and methods.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of project proposals and bids.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Professional Engineering (PrEng) status is a plus

Experience

• Proven experience in managing construction projects, at least 5 years preferred

Technical Skills

• Construction Software (e.g. AutoCAD, MS Project)
• Risk Assessment

Certifications

• NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Safety
• Chartered Construction Manager (CIOB) Certification
